13 killed in Gaibandha road crash

At least 13 people were killed as a rod-laden truck overturned on Dhaka-Rangpur highway at Jundoho area of Polashbari upazila in Gaibandha district on Thursday noon.

Besides, five people who were injured in the incident were rescued and admitted to Polashbari Upazila Health Complex.

Masudur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Polashbari Police Station, confirmed the news.

Identities of the deceased and others could not be known immediately.
