169 more Bangladeshis return from India

169 more Bangladesh nationals who stranded in Chennai of India due to lockdown amid coronavirus outbreak have returned home.

A flight of US-Bangla Airlines carrying them touched down Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 2:56pm on Friday.

With this, US-Bangla brought back a total of 661 Bangladesh citizens from Chennai in four phases.

US-Bangla Airlines General Manager (Public Relations) Kamrul Islam confirmed the news.

He said, “A total of 169 Bangladeshis including five children were brought back from Chennai in fourth phase. Earlier, 492 Bangladesh citizens were brought in first three phases earlier.”
