Murderers will be brought to justice: Home Adviser

Home Affairs Adviser Lt Gen (retd) Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury has said the persons who were involved in the Biswa Ijtema ground killings will be brought to justice. They will not be spared.

The adviser said this while talking to newsmen after two separate meetings with the followers of Maulana Saad and Maulana Zubayer at the Ministry of Home’s conference room on Wednesday.

“Discussions between the two groups are going on. All want the both groups will work together. If an agreement is reached, the government will take a decision”, he said.

The adviser said that the government will take measures to provide proper treatment to those injured in the clash.

A delegation from the Saad group held a meeting with the five advisers led by Jahangir Alam at around 11:00am. Later, a meeting was held with the Maulana Zubayer group.
