Mild earthquake felt in Dhaka 

A mild earthquake was felt in several parts of the country including the capital Dhaka on Friday afternoon.

The tremor measuring 4 on the Richter scale occurred around 5:00pm.

According to Bangladesh Meteorological Department's Earthquake Observation and Research Center said the earthquake originated in the India-Bangladesh border near Brahmanbaria and Habiganj districts. 

However, no immediate reports of damage or casualties have been received.
