19 more test positive for coronavirus in Kishoreganj

19 new COVID-19 patients have been detected in Kishoreganj, raising the total number of confirmed cases in the district to 253.

Civil Surgeon Md Mujibur Rahman confirmed this on Wednesday morning.

Samples of 116 people were tested in a PCR lab, of which 19 tested positive for coronavirus, he said.   

Among the new patients, two are in Kishoreganj, three in Karimganj, one in Tarail, two in Pakundia, two in Katiadi, eight in Bajitpur and one in Bhairab.
