2 bullet-hit bodies recovered from Cox’s Bazar

Cox’s Bazar Correspondent: Police recovered two bullet-hit dead bodies from Baharchhora and Kobita Chattar areas of Cox’s Bazar town on Monday.
One of the deceased was identified as Rifat Ahmed, 25, while the other could not be identified.
Farid Uddin Khandokar, officer-in-charge (OC) of Cox’s Bazar Sadar model police station, confirmed the news to risingbd around 1:00pm.
Locals informed police after hearing sounds of firing in the morning. Later, police went to the spots and recovered the bodies. Two locally-made arms and 200 pieces of yaba were also seized from the spots, the OC said.
Dead bodies were sent to Cox’s Bazar Sadar hospital morgue, OC added.
