2 killed as bus falls into ditch in Comilla

Staff Correspondent, Comilla: Two people were killed and 15 others injured as a bus plunged into a ditch at Barura upazila in the district Monday night.
The incident took place at Bashpur village in the upazila around 11:00pm.
Identities of the deceased could not be ascertained immediately.
Lalmai highway police outpost`s Sergeant Ibrahim Khalil said a Chandpur bound bus plunged into a ditch at Bashpur village under Barura upazila of the district when the driver of the bus lost his control over steering, leaving two people killed and 15 others injured.
The deceased were sent to a hospital morgue for autopsy, the sergeant added.
He said the injured were admitted to different hospitals.
