2 killed in Mymensingh road accident

Staff Correspondent, Mymensingh: Two persons including a child were killed and five others injured as a bus and a CNG-powered auto-rickshaw collided head-on in Phulpur upazila of the district on Thursday.

The accident took place on Dhaka-Haluaghat upazila at noon.

The deceased were identified as Jayed, 6 and Siraj, 45.

The injured were sent to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital (MMCH).

The killer bus was seized, but the driver managed to flee the spot, Imarot Hossen Gazi, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Phulpur Police Station, said.
