2 killed in Teknaf ‘gunfight’

Cox’s Bazar Correspondent: Two Rohingya men, who were accused in the killing of Juba League leader Omar Faruk, have been killed in a ‘gunfight’ with police.

The gunfight took place in Jadimura hilly area of Teknaf upazila early Saturday.

Three policemen were also injured in the gunfight.

The deceased were identified as Md Shah and Abdu Shukur, residents of  Jadimura refugee camp.

Officer-in-Charge of Teknaf Thana Prodip Kumar Das confirmed the matter.

Police also recovered two guns and nine rounds of bullets from the spot.
