2 motorcyclists killed in Patuakhali road accident

Two youths were killed when a motorbike skidded off the road on Patuakhali-Kuakata Highway in Basak Bazar area under Sadar upazila of Patuakhali district on Wednesday.

The deceased were known as Abul Kashem, 25, son of Kalam Peyada, hailed from Auliapur union of sadar upazila and Mosharraf Hossain, 26, son of Delwar Hossain, hailed from Char Biswas in Galachipa upazila.

Patuakhali Sadar police station Sub-inspector Md Hanif said, the accident took place early morning, leaving the two motorcycle riders injured critically. Later, they were sent to hospital where duty doctors declared them dead.
