2 school boys killed in lightning in Feni

Two schoolboys were killed and another was injured in a lightning strike at Paikpara village in Sonagazi upazila of Feni on Saturday.

The deceased were known as Shakib, 12, son of Joynal Abedin and Imran, 13, son of Gofran Mia. They were student of Osmania High School.

Quoting locals, union parishan Chairman Ishak Khokon said, some teenagers including Shakib, Imran, Nahid were playing in a mango orchard in the village around 11:00am. Meanwhile, a thunder bolt hit them, leaving Shakib and Imran dead on the spot and injured Nahid critically.

Later, locals sent the injured Nahid to Hospital
