23 new cases of Covid 19 confirmed in Munshiganj

Twenty-three new cases of Covid 19 have been confirmed in Munshiganj, raising the total number of coronavirus infected people in the district to 102.

District civil surgeon Abdul Kalam Azad confirmed the news to risingbd on Friday moring.

He said, “Twenty-three new cases of Covid 19 have been confirmed in the district till today (Friday). Of them, 8 are of sadar upazila while 9 in Sirajdikhan, 2 in Tongibari, 2 in Gozaria and one in Shreenagar, Louhajong each.”

A total of four patients have recovered from coronavirus infection in the district. They are Gita Rani Pal, 70, of Abirpara under Sirajdikhan, her son Deepak Pal, 26, Mohiuddin, 60, of Foinpur under Shreenagar, and Maya Begum, 42, of Panam village under sadar upazila.
