26 recover from coronavirus

Of those infected with coronavirus or COVID-19 in the country,  a total of 26 people have recovered from the virus and returned home, Health and Family Welfare Minister Zahid Maleque said.

He made the disclosure at an online media briefing on Wednesday (April 1).

Three more persons have been found to be infected with coronavirus in the country, taking the number of the confirmed cases to 54, Maleque said.

Another coronavirus patient has passed away in the country, taking the death toll to six, he added.

The health minister said sample tests of 157 people have been completed. Nine have been put in isolation, taking the number of patients in isolation to 73.
