269 more Bangladeshis leave Dhaka for Italy

A total of 269 Bangladeshi nationals, who came to the country from Italy before the start of coronavirus outbreak and later got stuck in the country, have left Dhaka for Italy on a special flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines.

The special flight left Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport for Rome, Italy around 12:15pm on Tuesday (June 23).

Tahera Khandaker, deputy general manager (public relations) of the national flag carrier, confirmed the matter to risingbd.

Earlier on June 17, a total of 259 Bangladeshi citizens left Dhaka for Italy and on June 12, a chartered flight of the national flag carrier left Dhaka for Rome carrying 287 Bangladeshi nationals.
