A total of 281 Bangladeshi nationals, who came from Italy before the start of coronavirus outbreak and later got stuck in the country, have left Dhaka for Italy on a special flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines.
The special flight left Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport for Rome, Italy around 12:20 pm on Saturday (June 27).
Tahera Khandaker, deputy general manager (public relations) of the national flag carrier, confirmed the matter to risingbd.
Earlier on June 12, a chartered flight of the national flag carrier left Dhaka for Rome carrying 287 Bangladeshi nationals, a total of 259 Bangladeshi citizens left Dhaka for Italy on June 17 and 269 Bangladeshi citizens left Dhaka for Italy on June 23.
