3 compartments of train derailed

Three compartments of an inter-city train veered of the tracks at Gouripur in Mymensingh around 10.00pm on Wednesday.

After the derailment, rail communications of Mymensingh with Netrokona and Bhairab remained suspended.

Confirming the matter, Mosharraf Hossain, officer-in-charge of Government Railway Police in Mymensingh, said no one injured in the incident.

A relief train started removing the derailed compartments from the rail tracks.
