3 crushed under bus

At least three people have been crushed under a bus at Amtoli in Barguna.

At least 10 people were injured in the accident that took place in AK School Chowrasta area around 11.00am on Saturday.

The deceased were identified as Nupur, 40, her 10-year-old son Hasib and Lamia, 14, daughter of Nupur’s sister.

According to sources, a Kuakata-bound bus from Patuakhali plunged into a road side ditch, leaving three dead on the spot and 10 injured.

Confirming the news to media, Md Abul Bashar, officer-in-charge of Amtoli Police Station, said police seized the bus.
