3 doctors, 5 others infected with corona in JhenaidahThree specialised doctors and five others have newly tested positive for coronavirus or COVID-19 in Jhenaidah district, raising the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the district to 21.

Jhenaidah Civil Surgeon Dr Selina Begum confirmed the matter around 9:30 am on Tuesday.

The three doctors were detected from Jhenaidah Sadar hospital, Kotchandpur Upazila Health Complex and Shailkupa Upazila Health Complex respectively.

Of the remaining infected, three are from Shailkupa upazila and two from Kaliganj upazila.
