3 held for murdering woman in Badda

Staff Correspondent: Police detained three people in connection with the lynching of a woman named Taslima Begum Renu in Dhaka’s Badda area on Sunday night.

The detainees are identified as Jafar, Bappi and Shahin.

Rafikul Islam, officer-in-charge (OC) of Badda Police Station confirmed the matter.

He said, three people were arrested from Badda area in the murder case. Interrogation is underway.  

Taslima Begum Renu, a single mother of two kids, was beaten dead when she went to Uttar Badda Government Primary School to ask about the admission process on Sunday morning (July 20).
