3 militant women get 10 years jail term

Sirajganj Correspondent: A court in Sirajganj has sentenced three women members of banned militant outfit Jamaatul-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) to 10 years of imprisonment.
Sirajganj Additional district and session judge-1 court judge Begum Salma Khatun passed the order on Monday noon.
The accused are- Nadia Tabassum Rani, 30, wife of Mahbubur Rahman, hailed from Badullapur village of Salanga upazila in Sirajganj, Runa Begum, 19, wife of Mamrul Islam Sardar, hailed from Bochadah Dakshinpara village of Gobindaganj upazila in Gaibandha, Rumana Aktar Ruma, 21, wife of Sujan Ahmed Bijay, hailed from Paranbaria village of Shahjahanpur in Bogura.
Assistant Public Prosecutor Mashiur Rahman Chowdhury said, police arrested the four women members of JMB from a rented house in Masumpur area of Sirajganj on July 23, 2016.
Another accused Habiba Aktar Ruma, 18 was sent to juvenile court.
