3 more coronavirus cases detected in Bandarban

Three more persons have tested positive for coronavirus in Bandarban, taking the number of confirmed infected cases to four in the hill district.

The patients hailed from Lama and Thanchi upazilas.

Bandarban Civil Surgeon Ong Sui Puru confirmed the news on Tuesday night.

According to Civil Surgeon office, among the infected persons, one is a policeman, one is a resident of Baramadok and a man of Marma community.

Earlier, a man, who recently attended an event of Tablig Jamaat, tested positive for coronavirus in Bandarban.

The patient is a 70-year old man and a resident of Tumbru Komarpara area in Ghumdhum union of Naikhangchhari upazila.
