3 units of Khulna Medical put under lockdown

The management committee has put three units of Khulna Medical College Hospital under lockdown to prevent the transmission of coronavirus.

The three units are administrative block of academic building, guest house and teachers’ lounge.

The decision was taken after three doctors had tested positive for coronavirus on Monday.

A press release signed by Khulna Deputy Commissioner and president of the management committee Mohammad Helal Hossain said no-one will be allowed to enter the areas, and actions will be taken against those who will violate the rules.

Two doctors have been sent to Dhaka for better treatment and another has been kept at the isolation unit of Khulna Diabetic Hospital.
