30 more coronavirus patients detected in Narsingdi

30 more coronavirus patients have been detected in Narsingdi, raising the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the district to 134.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) and District Coronavirus Prevention Emergency Cell Chief Imrul Kayes confirmed the matter on Monday (April 20).

He said samples of 77 people in the district were collected on Saturday last and later sent those to Dhaka for tests out of which coronavirus has been detected in the samples of 30 people.

Of those infected with the virus, two have recovered in the district, he added.
