811 centres: Atiq 259986, Tabith 159361

Balloting in two Dhaka city corporations came to an end at 4:00pm on Saturday.

The Election Commission (EC) is now announcing results of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) unofficially.

According to the announcement, in 811 centres: Awami League nominated Atiqul Islam secured 259986 votes while BNP candidate Tabith Awal bagged 159361 votes.

Joint Secretary of the EC Secretariat Md Abdul Baten is announcing the results at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA).

Total centres in DNCC are 1,318 while voters 30,10,273.
