37 judges among 176 court officials infected with Covid-19

A total of 37 judges and 101 staff of lower courts and 38 employees of the Supreme Court were infected with coronavirus or Covid-19 until Monday (June 29).

Md Saifur Rahman, spokesperson of Bangladesh Supreme Court, said this in a press release issued today.

They were infected with coronavirus while working for the virtual court as of Monday, he said.

A total of ten judges of the lower courts have made recoveries so far, Saifur Rahman said in the press release.
