4 including daughter-in-law to die in Laxmipur

A Laxmipur court has sentenced four people including son’s wife to death for killing mother-in-law.

Senior District and Sessions Judge Md Shaheenur passed the order on Tuesday noon.

The condemned convicts are Sharmin Akter, also wife of the victim's son, Md Jamal, lover of Sharmin, Najim and Jasim. All convicts are absconding.

According to court sources, Jakera Begum at Dharmapur village under Teoariganj union of Sadar upazila was strangled to death by the convicts on July 12, 2016.

Khurshid Alam, brother-in-law of victim, filed a case in this connection later in the day.
