4 killed in clash between police, locals in Bhola

At least four people have been killed in a clash between the locals and members of police at Borhanuddin upazila in Bhola district.

The incident took place around 11.00am on Sunday during a gathering at Borhanuddin High School ground. The gathering was called in protest against a ‘Facebook post’ over a religious event.

At one stage, the protesters became violent, prompting the law-enforcers to get into an action, leaving four dead.
