5 cops arrested over Yaba possession

Five policemen have been arrested on charge of keeping Yaba pills in their possession.

Confirming the matter, Uttara east police station OC Nur-e-Alam Siddik on Monday said, five policemen were interrogated on Sunday. Later, a case was filed against them under Narcotics Control Act.

The five police members were – Airport Armed Police Battalion (APBn) constable Prasanta Mandal, Nayek Md Jahangir Alam, constable Md Roni Mollah, constable Md Shariful Islam and Gulshan police station ASI Masud Ahmed Miazi.
