5 hacked to death in tea garden

Five people including three members of a family have been hacked to death at Barolekha in Moulvibazar.

The incident took place on Saturday midnight at Pallatal Tea Garden of Uttar Shahbajpur union under the upazila.

The deceased could not be identified immediately.

Moulvibazar Police Super Faruk Ahmed confirmed the matter.

Barolekha Thana Officer-in-Charge Yeasinul Haq said “We did not find out the clue behind the murders and are trying to find out the murderers”.
