5,013 houses found suitable for Aedes mosquito breeding

Staff Correspondent: Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) mayor and its officials visited different houses and establishment aiming to destroy mosquito ground on Monday.

DNCC team found 5,013 houses out of nearly 10,720 as suitable grounds for breeding Aedes mosquito.

Alongside, the team also found Aedes mosquito larvae at 298 houses and establishments.

DNCC Public Relations office revealed the news on Monday evening.

Meanwhile, DNCC Mobile Court fined Executive Inn Ltd Tk 3 lakh while Miraki Restaurant Tk 50,000 as Aedes mosquito larvae was found.

Besides, Shanta Properties of Gulshan was fined Tk 1 lakh while Onward Porperties of Shahjadpur Tk 50,000 and an owner of under construction building Tk 50,000.
