62 new corona patients detected in Mymensingh division

A total of 62 people have been found to be infected newly with coronavirus or COVID-19 in Mymensingh division, raising the total number of confirmed cases in the division to 970.

Mymensingh Medical College Principal Prof. Chitto Ranjan Debnath confirmed this to risingbd on Thursday night.

Sample tests of 288 people were carried out at the PCR lab of Mymensingh Medical College. Of which, 62 people tested positive for coronavirus in the division, he said.

Among the 970 patients, 467 in Mymensingh, 203 in Jamalpur, 84 in Sherpur and 216 in Netrokona.

13 people died of coronavirus in the division so far.
