7 DMP police inspectors get new postings

Staff Correspondent, DHAKA, Jan 31: Seven police officers were given new postings in the city’s different police stations on Thursday.

According to the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) sources, inspector (investigation) of Tejgaon Industrial Police Station M Ilias Hossain has been transferred to DB (East Division), replacing inspector Mizanur Rahman.

Officer in-charge (OC) of Cantonment Police Station M Salahuddin has been posted to Tejgaon Industrial Police Station, replacing M Atiqur Rahman, inspector (investigation), Kalabagan Police Station.

Airport Police Station OC M Shamsuddin Saleh Ahmed Chowdhury has been transferred to DB (South Division).
He has been replaced by Shah Alam, Kotwali Police Station OC, while M Moniruzzaman of Industrial Police Station OC has been made OC at Kotwali Police Station.

The orders took immediate effect, DMP sources said.
