80% of corona patients have mild symptoms

Nearly 80 percent of coronavirus infected patients have mild symptoms, says the Directorate General of Health Service (DGHS).

Prof Dr Nasima Sultana, additional director general of DGHS said this in the daily online bulletin on Tuesday (June 30).

She said protection is at your own hands. So you will protect yourself. Keep mental morale and mental health alive. Those have already infected, do not lose your morale. Because, 80 percent of infected patients have mild symptoms. 5% of patients have severe symptoms while 3% or some more people have critical symptoms. So, do not lose your morale as it will help you to keep well and sound.

Nasima Sultana suggested to exercise regularly to keep the lungs healthy and eat nutritious food to increase immunity.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh reported a single day highest 64 death from coronavirus on Tuesday, raising the toll to 1,847.

Besides 3,682 new case were detected in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of infected people at 1,45,483.
