9 members of banned outfit ‘Allahr Dal’ detained

The Anti-Terrorism Unit (ATU) of police have detained nine members of banned extremist outfit “Allahr Dal” from a house in Arambagh area of Sylhet city.

Sylhet Metropolitan Police Additional Commissioner Paritosh Ghosh disclosed their detention at a press briefing in Sylhet on Thursday noon.

A team of police, led by the unit’s Police Super Mohiduzzaman, conducted a drive in Arambagh area around 10:30pm on Wednesday and detained them with the help of Sylhet Metropolitan Police, Paritosh Ghosh said.
