Staff Correspondent, Narayanganj: Nine members of a family have suffered burn injuries in a gas line explosion at a flat in the district’s Fatullah early Wednesday.
The incident took place at a flat of third floor of a four-storey building in Haque Bazar area.
The injured were taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
The injured are identified as Srinath Chandra Barman, 35, his wife Orchona, 28, daughter Anamika, son Arpit, mother Chaya Rani, 60, sister Sumitra, Sumitra’s husband Narayan, Pramit, 14, and Shawon, 10.
SM Monjur Quader, officer-in-charge of Fatullah Police Station, confirmed the matter.
