92 complaints recorded against Shahed in 24 hrs

Victims allegedly defrauded by Regent Group’s Chairman Mohammad Shahed alias Shahed Karim filed 92 complaints against him with RAB media cell in last 24 hours.

RAB officials said the victims will be provided legal assistance.

RAB Media Wing Director Lt. Col. Ashiq Billah on Saturday night told risingbd that a complaint cell was launched on Friday. Since, victims contacted there and filed 92 complaints in written. The complaints will be sent to investigation agency and the victims will be provided legal assistance.

The complaints include- unpaid debt money, fake coronavirus test certificate, not paying money by selling goods from trader, cheat with fake note.

RAB said different information of fraudulence is coming out against Shahed since he had been arrested.

Mentionable, a mobile court conducted by RAB sealed off Uttara and Mirpur branch of Regent Hospital Ltd on July 6. Later, a case was filed with Uttara West Police Station against 17 people. On July 15, Shahed was arrested from Shakra Komorpur border area of Debhata upazila in Satkhira.
