95.50pc pass PEC, Ebtedayee 95.96pc

The results of this year`s Primary Education Completion (PEC) and Ebtedayee Examinations have been published.

About 95.50 per cent students have passed PEC examinations and 95.96 per cent Ebtedayee examinations.

State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Md Zakir Hossain announced the results officially at a press briefing on Tuesday noon.

As many as 3,26,88 students have achieved GPA-5 in PEC exams and 11,877 have achieved GPA-5 in Ebtedayee exams, the state minister said.

Earlier, Md Zakir Hossain handed over results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday morning.
