ACC decides to investigate against JKG Chairman Sabrina

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has decided to investigate against JKG Health Care Chairman Dr Sabrina Arif Chowdhury. There is an allegation of amassing illegal wealth and embezzlement of Taka 8 crore against her.

ACC took the decision on Monday, Public Relations Officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya confirmed this to risingbd.

According to ACC, being Cardiac surgeon of National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD), there are allegations of fraud and forgery with the help of her husband Arif Chowdhury. The commission has decided to investigate allegations of embezzlement of Tk 8crore through preparing and supplying 15,460 fake medical reports after collecting samples of coronavirus infected patients in different parts of the country including the capital Dhaka.
