ACC grills ex-Secretary Prashanta Kumar

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has interrogated former Secretary of Rural Development and Co-operatives Division (RDCD) Prashanta Kumar Roy over corruption allegations.

ACC Investigating Officer and Deputy Director Jahangir Alam interrogated him from 11.00am on Tuesday at the ACC headquarters in the capital.

ACC Public Relations Officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya confirmed the matter.

There are specific allegations against Prashanta Kumar that he has amassed wealth through irregularities and corruption, according to the ACC officials.
