ACC launches hotline number for expats

Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Sunday launched a hotline to allow Bangladeshi expatriates to lodge complaints about various kinds of irregularities and corruption.

The new hotline number is +8809612106106. Expatriates can call at the number between 9:00am and 5:00pm (Bangladesh local time).

Earlier on February 18, the mobile number of ACC director (public relations) Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya was being used as hotline number.

From now, the new number of ACC will be used to receive complaints from expatriates.

Following the new initiative, the watchdog got a huge-response from expatriates. Numerous phone call came from expatriates in Australia, France, United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Malaysia and other countries.
