Benapole Express fire: BNP leader Nabi Ullah put on remand

BNP joint convener for Dhaka city south unit Mohammad Nabi Ullah Nabi has been put on a three-day remand in a case filed in connection with the fire incident at Benapole Express train.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Farzana Shakila Sumu granted the remand plea on Saturday.

Sub Inspector of DB Police Ashraful Alam, also investigation officer of the case filed with Jatrabari Thana, sought remand for seven days.

At least four people were killed in the fire broke out at Benapole Express on Friday (January 5) night.
