Accused in Ctg physician murder case killed in ‘gunfight’

An accused of physician murder case of Chattogram was killed in a ‘gunfight’ with members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) early Wednesday.

He was known as Nozir Ahamed Sumon Prakash Kalu, 26.

Kalu was the main accused of the murder case of Dr Shah Alam, who is popularly known as a physician for poor people. 

The gunfight took place at Sitakunda of Chattogram. Law enforcers also recovered two firearms and 27 rounds of bullets.

Chattogram RAB-7 Assistant Director (media) Mahmudul Hassan confirmed the news.

Mentionable, Dr Shah Alam was killed while he was returning home from work place on October 17.
