All-rounder Mahedi Hasan ties the knot

Bangladesh national team cricketer Mahedi Hasan has the tied the knot.

The 25-year-old spin allrounder got married with Ritu, a HSC second-year student of Khulna Government Women College.

The marriage was held in family arrangement at his maternal uncle’s house at Boira in Khulna on Sunday evening.

Mahedi himself confirmed about his marriage to risingbd.

He requested all to keep the new couple in prays.

Mahedi said, ‘The marriage ceremony was held in larger way because of coronavirus pandemic. Just close relatives of both families were present in the programme. Have intention to arrange a ceremony in larger manner after coronavirus ended.

It was an arrange marriage, claimed Mahedi. He said, ‘We got married with family will. I seek prays from all in our new journey of life.’

Mahedi made his T20I debut for Bangladesh national team against Sri Lanka in 2018. He has played four matches in the format so far. He managed to catch everyone’s attention with his outstanding performance for Cumilla Victorians in BPL.
