All water transports suspended

Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA) announced that water transports all across the country will remain suspended from this noon (March 24) in order to contain the risk of spreading coronavirus or COVID-19.

The decision will remain in force until April 4.

Mobarak Hossain Majumdar, public relation officer of BIWTA, told risingbd that all water transports will remain suspended from 12:00pm today.
