Another arrested in Abrar murder case

Detectives of Dhaka Metropolitan Police have arrested another suspect in connection with Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) student Abrar Fahad’s murder.

The detainee is identified as SM Mahmud Setu, a student of batch-14 of BUET and a resident of Sher-e-Bangla Hall.

Sources in the DMP Media and Public Relations Division said a team of DB office arrested him from Banglamotor area in the city on Sunday night.

Mahmud’s name is not included in the FIR but he was arrested finding his involvement in the murder, they said.
