Another detected with coronavirus in Gazipur

An expatriate, who was kept under quarantine at a mother and child welfare centre in Meghdudi area of Gazipur City Corporation, has been identified as coronavirus infected.

Gazipur Civil Surgeon Dr. Khairuzzaman disclosed this at a press conference on Wednesday.

“We sent 8 people, among them who were quarantined under us, to Kuwait Maitree Hospital in Dhaka. Among them, one has been diagnosed with coronavirus infection”, he said.

Earlier on Tuesday, two new coronavirus patients were identified in the country, increasing the total number of coronavirus infected people in the country to 10. The number has now risen to 11 as a new coronavirus patient has been identified in Gazipur.
