Another dies of dengue

Staff Correspondent: Another person died after being diagnosed with dengue fever while undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).

Fazlur Rahman, 55, passed away at ward no- 602 of the hospital early Sunday.

Sub- inspector (SI) Bacchu Mia, in-charge of DMCH police outpost, confirmed the matter.

According to hospital sources, Fazlur Rahman was admitted to the DMCH on Friday after being diagnosed with dengue fever.

Earlier, a housewife Sumi Akter died of dengue fever in Shibchar upazila of Madaripur district.

She died around 2.00am on Sunday on way to Dhaka from Shibchar Upazila Health Complex.
