Army to monitor strictly social distancing from Thursday

Bangladesh Army, as part of the support to the local administration, will strictly monitor the social distancing of people across the country from Thursday in order to check the transmission of novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

They will also ensure the matter of home quarantine for the people, according to Inter Service Public Relations Directorate ISPR).

Strict measures will be taken against the violators of the government directive.
