Atiqul Islam, Taposh take oath

The newly-elected mayors of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Atiqul Islam and Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh took their oath of office on Thursday morning.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina administered the oath at the Shapla Hall.

The newly-elected councillors to general wards and reserved women's seats were sworn in.

LGRD Minister Md Tazul Islam administered the oath.
