Awami League leader stabbed dead in Chandpur

A local Awami League leader has been stabbed dead by miscreants in Chandpur.

The incident took place in Kumardugi area of the upazila on Monday evening.

The deceased was identified as Azizur Rahman Bhutto, former vice-president of Shah Mahmudpur union unit of Awami League and a fertilizer trader.

Chandpur sadar model thana police confirmed the matter.
 
According to police, miscreants attacked Azizur Rahman while he was going to home. He died on way to hospital.
